Searching for Jobs and Internships across the nation is an intimidating and challenging task. Here's some resources that may help!
Chamber of Commerce: Each county/region has a directory of all the small businesses located within an area. To utilize your area's Chamber of Commerce to identify a list of businesses in your area/ the area that you want to work in. Simply Google <your county or a large city near you> chamber of commerce, and then on their page look for something like "Membership Directory" or "Business Directory" for a list of companies in that area split by industry. For example, Here's one for Columbus, Ohio: https://web.columbus.org/search
Buzzfile is a useful resource for finding all the companies in your target geographic area to research and find out one-by-one which company is hiring in your industry. Check out the list of majors here; you may have to be creative to find the way they categorize it compared to your major.

Last but not least, we encourage you to use a variety of job boards and networking. LinkedIn is a great home for both of those things, but make sure you use a variety of major job boards (Indeed, Monster, etc.) and smaller job boards in your industry. See the document to the right for a list of great job boards!
