Residents of Columbiana, Jefferson, Mahoning and Trumbull Counties as well as EGCC alumni (including all JCC, JTC alumni) are eligible for community borrowing. To receive or renew your EGCC library card please fill out a Community Borrower Application. Community Borrowers will need to bring a valid photo ID to either the Library or Information Commons with their completed application.
- Community borrowers must present a valid photo ID (and mail with legal street address if the address is not on the photo ID) when completing the Community Borrower Application.
- Changes in name, legal street address, telephone number, or email address must be reported, in person, to either location of the Library and Information Commons. A valid photo ID (and mail with current address if an address is not on the photo ID) must be presented when changing any information.
- Community Borrower privileges are valid for one year from date of application and may be renewed annually if they are a patron in good standing.
- Community Borrowers are limited to a total of 5 items at a time.
- Normal circulation rules apply to Community Borrowers, with the exception of reserve materials which circulate only to current students, faculty and staff.
- Community Borrowers privileges will be suspended for any item not returned within 30 days of its due date.
- Community Borrowers shall adhere to all policies and procedures governing the use of the Library and Information Commons and its collections. Violation or the repeated violation of policies and procedures may result in the termination of your library privileges.
- Community Borrower privileges exclude remote access to licensed electronic resources, including OhioLINK resources.
