APA Citation Example

Below is an example of how to include an image as a Figure in an APA Style paper:

Below is the format for citing an image in your APA References page:

Last name, Initials or Organization Name. (Year). Image title [Format]. Site Name. URL

Example:

Denali National Park and Preserve. (2014). Caribou [Photograph]. Flickr. https://www.flickr.com/photos/denalinps/14253110823/

Below is the format for citing an image in your MLA Works Cited page:

Creator last name, First name or Organization Name. “Image Title.” or Description of image. Website Name, Day Month Year, URL [without https://].

Example of Works Cited page citation:

Denali National Park and Preserve. "Caribou." Flickr, 18 May 2014, flic.kr/p/nHuVh4.
